Refund & Returns Policy
We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you experience any issues, we’re here to help.
Contacting Us First
Be sure to include your order number and contact details. This helps us resolve your issue quickly and efficiently.
Damaged or Broken or Items
If your item arrives damaged or broken, you are entitled to a full refund or replacement. Please notify us within 14 days of delivery and return the item to us. Please contact us at custserv@tailte.ie for instructions on how to arrange a return.
Incorrect Items
If you received the wrong item, please contact us within 14 days of delivery. Once we receive the returned item, we will ship the correct one at no additional cost to you.
Customised Products
Customised or personalised products — such as site-centered maps including Historic Maps, Planning Pack Maps, Land Registry Compliant Maps and other types of Digital Data products can only be returned if they arrive damaged or faulty. When placing your order, please carefully check the area of coverage shown on screen, as this is exactly what will be in your delivered product. Once a customised map has been generated or printed by us, we cannot offer refunds or exchanges if the wrong area was selected, even if it was chosen in error.
Digital Products
If you experience an issue with a digital product, please contact us at custserv@tailte.ie. If the issue is accepted, you may be required, as part of the resolution process, to confirm that all copies — including backups, email attachments, and printed versions — have been permanently deleted or destroyed.
Other Faulty Products
If you believe your purchased item is faulty or not as described, please contact us immediately at custserv@tailte.ie. We will assess the issue and advise on the next steps.
Important:
1. Items must be returned in their original condition and packaging wherever possible.
2. Refunds will be issued using the original payment method.
3. This policy does not affect your statutory rights under EU consumer law.
